The-bay-of-plenty-wedding-show-contentMost exhibitions have an entry fee or registration process and the Bay of Plenty Wedding Show is no exception. As the largest wedding show in the wider Bay of Plenty, you can be certain that a huge array of exhibitors will be able to be on hand to answer questions and invite your enthusiasm for their brand of wedding expertise and service. This year, the Bay of Plenty Wedding Show includes a fashion show offering a red carpet viewing of the latest, most fashionable trend for the wedding season.

What You Can Expect

In addition to the important features of the show, including photography, catering and fashion, you will also be able to speak with celebrants, find quotes for transport and venues, get tips on beauty and fitness, DJ’s and bands as well as where to go for the honeymoon. There will be a host of competitions to enter, gift registrations and information right down to personalised wedding stationary.

How to prepare

The-bay-of-plenty-wedding-show-content-2You will be an expert at planning by now, figuring out dates, deciding on a budget and confirming attendance that preparing for a wedding show will be a piece of cake. Before you go make sure you have a look at the amount of each wedding specialist will be present. Maximise your visit by creating a list of intelligent questions you have for each of the exhibitors. Understand that it is unlikely that each exhibitor will be able to give you any detail around costing until they have more information from you, so it is an opportunity to probe with the idea of a more comprehensive appraisal at a later date. Allow additional time for traffic, browsing, distraction and queues. Research different exhibitors offering the same services to see how they differ. Do they have any awards? How experienced are they?

Take a map with you and design a lead information plan to ensure that you can make accurate comparisons between the vendors.

At the show

Request literature and samples to be mailed so that you do not have to carry them all with you. Let the exhibitors know that you have a tight time schedule to avoid casual chatter and get straight to the point. Skip overly crowded booths and plan to revisit them at a later time. Be aware of coats and bags you may want to check so you do not have to carry them with you. Keep hydrated and have a rest every now and then to revitalise yourself. Avoid conversations with vendors you have no interest in.

If you are after catering, make sure you visit our stand and ask our award winning team about their part in making your dream day come true.
